Global Trends in Child Marriage

Negative impacts, in terms of education, health, and psychological well-being, exist in the life of the girls who are married off early. Due to these impacts, child marriage is prohibited by law in many countries. However, in reality, this law is not followed by most of the people in the society.

This paper represents the global trends in child marriage. The outcomes suggest that globally child marriage is reduced over time but this reduction has taken place in a slow pace.
