Call for Abstracts: ISRC 2026 Invites Student Researchers to Share Their Ideas
What happens when curious minds are given a platform to question, investigate and challenge what is already known? The answer begins with research.
The 2nd International Student Research Conference (ISRC 2026), organised by the Dhaka University Research Society (DURS), is inviting student researchers from Bangladesh and beyond to submit abstracts for its upcoming annual conference.
Designed as a global platform for student-led research, ISRC 2026 will bring together emerging researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to present original ideas, exchange perspectives and build meaningful collaborations across disciplines and borders.
The conference will follow a hybrid format, allowing participants to engage both physically and virtually. Selected research will go through a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, offering student researchers an opportunity to receive academic feedback and participate in meaningful scholarly discussions.
Five Tracks, One Research Community
ISRC 2026 welcomes research across five broad tracks:
01. Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science
Research on machine learning, algorithms, data engineering, computational intelligence and software systems.
02. Human Mind, Behavior & Society
Studies covering psychology, sociology, behavioural science, cognitive science and social dynamics.
03. Business, Law & Global Affairs
Research in economics, finance, management, law, international relations and public policy.
04. Engineering, Architecture & Applied Physical Sciences
Research spanning engineering, structural systems, physical sciences and the built environment.
05. Health, Life Sciences, Environment, Sustainability & Humanities
Work related to public health, biomedical sciences, ecology, climate resilience, sustainability, cultural studies and humanities.
The conference aims to create more than a space for presentations. Its broader ambition is to build a cross-disciplinary research community in South Asia where emerging scholars from Bangladesh can engage with the international academic community on equal footing.
For students with an original research question, an emerging finding or a new perspective, ISRC 2026 offers an opportunity to take that work beyond the classroom and into a wider academic conversation.
