YIELD Hub Calls for Applications: Action Learning Programmes 2025 to Advance Youth Leadership in SRHR
YIELD Hub has opened applications for its 2025 Action Learning Programmes, providing a platform for organizations and individuals to co-create solutions in youth engagement, fundraising, and leadership. This initiative is particularly relevant to those working in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), where youth-led strategies remain key to advancing equitable health policies.
Why It Matters for SRHR
The global SRHR landscape faces persistent challenges, from inadequate youth-friendly healthcare services to gaps in youth compensation models. These issues are particularly pressing in low- and middle-income countries, where youth engagement in decision-making often lacks institutional support. YIELD Hub’s Action Learning Groups (ALGs) provide a collaborative space where participants address these critical concerns through peer learning and practical strategy development.
A former ALG participant highlighted the impact of this approach, saying,
“As a gender specialist working on the intersectional issues of health with youth, the Action Learning Groups provided me with an opportunity to engage with peers across the globe on how they are informing their youth compensation models.”
In past cycles, participants have developed frameworks on youth compensation that support researchers, policymakers, and advocates in ensuring fair remuneration for youth working in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR).
What to Expect in 2025
This year, YIELD Hub is running three concurrent Action Learning Cycles, each focusing on co-creating solutions to pressing challenges in youth-led initiatives. The program offers:
- A structured 7-month learning process
- 90-minute virtual sessions on Zoom (3:00–4:30 PM CET)
- Institutional and individual participation (for those driving institutional change)
- Diverse regional representation
Participants must commit to attending sessions consistently, with three absences leading to disqualification. Each organization must assign two representatives, ensuring continuous engagement.
Who Should Apply?
YIELD Hub invites applications from:
- Funders, researchers, and implementers
- International NGOs (INGOs) and youth-led organizations
- Advocates for youth participation in SRHR policy and service delivery
The deadline to apply is 17 March 2025, with the application taking approximately 30-40 minutes to complete.
For those still unsure, YIELD Hub has provided key resources like Ways of Working and Terms of Reference to guide applicants. The initiative underscores the importance of youth-driven policy changes, ensuring that young voices are heard, compensated, and empowered.
