Protest for the two rapes in Tripura

A human chain was formed by indigenous students at Lama upazilla yesterday demanding punishment of   the two rapists involved in Tripura double rape case.

The human chain was formed in front of Bandarban Press Club.

They also raised the issue of increasing violence against indigenous women in Chittagong Hill Tracts.

Tripura Student Association Bandarban unit General Secretary Samiron Tripura, Pahari Chhatra Parishad Bandarban college unit General Secretary Bamong Marma, Chak Student Association President Thoaigya Chak spoke at the rally.

Two members of the Border Guard Bangladesh raped two Tripura girls aged 12 & 17 on Wednesday  night.
