Teenage boy is severely beaten and sexually assaulted at Jhenaidah

Parvez Molla, a teenage boy of 13 years old has been brutally assaulted for having conversation with a girl. The boy has been beaten to unconscious by the girl’s father and brother and nail is inserted in his penis. The incident took place on June 22 at Baisa village in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah.

The witness has said that Parvez has been accused of chatting with daughter of Azizul Laskar. He is immediately caught by the girl’s father and brother. The boy has been taken to a remote area and is beaten for whole night till he lost his sense. The news has been informed to the boy’s mother by local political leader. The boy used to live with his grandparent after the separation of his parents.

At first, Parvez is taken to Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex and then to Jessore Medical College Hospital. Lastly, he has been shifted to Dhaka Medical Hospital for deteriorated health condition.

The boy’s mother has filed a case against the powerful alleged persons at Kaliganj Police Station.

Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of the police station has stated the incident as brutal and horrific. Three offenders have been arrested and police is looking for other abusers.
