The Next Step for Female HIV Preventives
Around 2 Million people every year become newly infected with HIV. In a recent Boston Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI), world’s leading scientists and researchers gathered to share their concern about the next big step in female HIV preventives. The conference shared the promising results of the two trials of Dapivirine vaginal ring, a female HIV prevention tool that can provide protection up to one month.
