The context of sexual knowledge among youth
Bangladesh is emerging as one of the most rapidly developing countries in the world. Yet, the topic of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights(SRHR) is a still a taboo here. People are not comfortable about being vocal about SRHR related issues.
“Snapshots- Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) among Young Adults: A Socio-Cultural Mapping” provides a brief overview of different existing socio-cultural beliefs and practices in different parts of Bangladesh.It features the common and varying aspects of Young Adults’ SRHR, found in places ranging from urban slums of Dhaka to Chittagong hill tracts to Madrasas of remote rural areas.
The facts provided by the document are expected to help the stakeholders of future SRHR related development activities.
