: Tarunnar Ahobane was established in 2019 by a group of passionate young individuals. The founders are Suman Acharya, Antor Saha, and Susmoy Saha, who envisioned engaging youth in social development and driving positive change in society. Since its inception, the organization has been actively involved in various social and humanitarian activities, while also promoting youth leadership and community engagement. Tarunnar Ahobane is officially registered under the Department of Youth Development, which has strengthened its organizational structure and credibility.

About the organisation

Tarunnar Ahobane (meaning “Call of Youth”) is a youth-driven voluntary organization committed to empowering young people and creating positive change in society. Founded with the vision of inspiring social responsibility, the organization works to engage youth in community development, education, and humanitarian activities.
Tarunnar Ahobane focuses on initiatives such as supporting underprivileged communities, promoting education and awareness, organizing social campaigns, and encouraging leadership among young individuals. Through teamwork, dedication, and innovation, the organization aims to build a more inclusive, compassionate, and progressive society.

SRHR publications/research

Tarunnar Ahobane is committed to promoting awareness, knowledge, and evidence-based action on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). The organization works to ensure the well-being, dignity, and rights of young people through research, documentation, and advocacy.
Our SRHR-focused initiatives include:
Research on adolescent health and awareness
Surveys and reports on menstrual hygiene management
Analytical publications on child marriage, gender equality, and comprehensive sexuality education
Development of awareness materials such as booklets, reports, and digital content
Community-based data collection and evidence-driven recommendations
Through these efforts, Tarunnar Ahobane aims to contribute to building a healthy, informed, and rights-based society.
