About the organisation
Shurjodoy Youth Society, established in 2018 and registered with the Department of Youth Development, is a passionate and dedicated youth organization.
Their mission is to shape a society where every child and youth can flourish in a secure environment, free from violence and environmental challenges, while having access to their rights and opportunities for self-development. Their key achievements from 2018 to 2023 include a committed board of seven members, a network of 300 active activists, impactful awareness programs, and a successful Green School Movement that involved planting 1,0000 trees and educating schools on climate action. With a strong commitment to child rights, and gender equality, combating gender-based violence, promoting online safety, fostering youth development, and addressing climate change, Shurjodoy Youth Society is actively contributing to creating a better world for young individuals. Join them in their mission to make the world safer, more inclusive, and sustainable for our youth.
SRHR publications/research
Shurjodoy Youth Society is actively involved in promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through a variety of initiatives. We conduct awareness sessions to educate individuals about SRHR, host events to foster open dialogue on these topics, and provide training programs to empower people with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health. These efforts encompass gender equality, combating gender-based violence, promoting online safety, empowering youth, and addressing climate change, all with the goal of ensuring that everyone can exercise their SRHR.
