About the organisation
Rongmohol for Youth is a registered youth-led, non-profit organization based in Khulna, Bangladesh, officially registered under the Department of Youth Development (Registration No: Khulna-109/2026).
Founded in 2018, the organization works to empower young people and create inclusive, resilient communities through youth leadership, child protection, women's empowerment, climate justice, environmental sustainability, community development, and volunteerism.
Recognizing that young people require access to accurate information and safe spaces to make informed life decisions, Rongmohol for Youth has increasingly integrated adolescent health, gender equality, menstrual hygiene management, prevention of child marriage, gender-based violence awareness, life skills education, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) awareness into its community engagement initiatives.
The organization collaborates with government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, and youth networks to implement evidence-based, community-driven programmes. Rongmohol for Youth has received recognition at national and international levels for its contributions to youth leadership, climate action, community development, and child protection.
Through joining Share-Net Bangladesh, we aim to strengthen our institutional capacity on SRHR, contribute grassroots knowledge and field experiences, participate in Communities of Practice, and collaborate with researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to advance inclusive and evidence-informed SRHR initiatives in Bangladesh.
SRHR publications/research
Currently, Rongmohol for Youth has not published any formal SRHR research or academic publications. However, the organization has implemented community awareness activities related to adolescent health, menstrual hygiene, prevention of child marriage, gender equality, child protection, and youth wellbeing. We are interested in strengthening our research and knowledge generation capacity through Share-Net Bangladesh.
