About the organisation
Ensuring Mental Wellbeing for Every Human
Mental illness is a pressing but invisible health crisis in Bangladesh. Surveys indicate that a significant percentage of the adult population suffers from some form of mental health disorder, with the treatment gap remaining alarmingly high. Despite the growing recognition of the issue, social stigma and the lack of accessible, affordable care persist as major barriers to treatment and recovery.
Recognizing this critical gap, Innovation for Wellbeing Foundation (IWF) was established to drive systemic change. We understand that clinical intervention alone is not enough; true wellbeing requires a holistic, community-driven approach. By fostering empathy, building local capacities, and advocating for policy reforms, we aim to dismantle the stigma and create an environment where mental health support is a fundamental right, not a privilege.
Pioneering the path toward a future where mental health care is accessible, de-stigmatized, and integrated into the very fabric of our communities. IWF is dedicated to establishing a robust model of wellbeing for all in Bangladesh through compassion, innovation, and unwavering commitment.
