About the organisation

Hopes of Humanity Centre (HHC) is a youth-led, non-political, government-registered organization in Bangladesh dedicated to transforming youth potential into measurable social, environmental, and economic impact.

Founded through a leadership-driven initiative, HHC designs and implements evidence-based, community-led solutions addressing some of Bangladesh’s most pressing challenges—climate vulnerability, food insecurity, waste management, and limited youth economic opportunities. By integrating experiential learning, social enterprise development, and market-linked interventions, the organization builds resilient communities while creating sustainable livelihood pathways for young people.

HHC works closely with climate-vulnerable and marginalized populations, including Dalit, Munda, and Rishi communities, ensuring inclusive participation and long-term capacity strengthening. Through structured training programs, innovation hubs, and grassroots initiatives, the organization equips youth with practical skills in climate action, disaster preparedness, sustainable agriculture, and leadership.

With a strong focus on scalability, accountability, and impact measurement, HHC combines youth leadership with systems thinking—delivering solutions that are not only locally grounded but also replicable and sustainable. Its integrated approach positions the organization as a credible partner for advancing climate resilience, social equity, and community-driven development across Bangladesh.

SRHR publications/research

Hopes of Humanity Centre (HHC) contributes to advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Bangladesh through evidence generation, youth-led advocacy, and policy engagement.

HHC’s work has been featured in international knowledge platforms, including the MIYP Stories of Change publication under the RHRN2 program, highlighting leadership in promoting Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and strengthening youth participation in sensitive policy spaces.

Through field-based research and community engagement, HHC has:

  • Identified critical gaps in SRHR awareness among youth, teachers, and parents
  • Facilitated data-driven dialogue with District Education Officers (DEOs) and policymakers
  • Supported institutional endorsement for CSE implementation across multiple districts
  • Created youth-friendly learning models to address stigma and misinformation

HHC integrates research into action—translating insights into training programs, community dialogues, and advocacy initiatives that improve access to accurate SRHR information, especially for marginalized and underserved communities.

  • From evidence to policy to practice—HHC ensures SRHR interventions are locally grounded, youth-driven, and systemically impactful.
