Hygiene management situation in Bangladesh

According to the study on national hygiene, most of the girls in Bangladesh use old piece of cloths during menstruation. More than 40% of girls reuse the old piece of cloths without washing those and drying those properly.  This research also shows that, lack of good menstruation hygiene management in school is one of the reason girls miss their school average three days during their menstruation. Even in many hospitals in Bangladesh, inadequate hygiene creates numerous opportunities for infectious disease transmission among people, according to the research done by Health Science Bulletin.
