House maid is brutally tortured in Feni

10 years old house maid has been brutally tortured and her back is severely burnt. The girl has been found and then sent to the police station at Feni. The police have reported that the girl has been employed by a woman named Afroza few months ago. Since then, the girl has been tortured and at one stage her back is burnt. Then she is kicked out of the house and then she is rescued by the police afterwards.

The scar on the child’s backside seems to be three or four months old. The duty doctor has said that the burns has been infected and the lack of medical treatment has worsened the condition.

The police have arrested Afroza after finding proof of the allegation and have taken her to chief judicial magistrate court. But the convict has denied the accusation saying the girl is burnt accidentally from gas stove.
