Guttmacher Institute is looking for submissions on abortion
IPSRH is looking for submissions on topics that are related to abortion, such as national incidence, women’s experiences seeking and obtaining abortion or postabortion care, provision and safety of services, availability and use of medication abortion protocols, and policy-related issues.
Abortion is a complex and pressing public health issue with wide-ranging implications for women, families and health systems worldwide. This is especially true, however, in low- and middle-income countries, where abortion incidence is often high, and where restrictive policies and unsafe procedures are most common.
The journal will consider original quantitative and qualitative research articles (with a maximum length of 6,000 words, excluding references and tables), as well as review articles and commentaries (up to 3,500 words).
All manuscripts accepted for the special issue will be published open access without fee.
Deadline for submission is May 15, 2020. Some content may be published prior to compilation of the special issue in late 2020.
Author guidelines and instructions for submitting a manuscript can be found at https://www.guttmacher.org/journals/ipsrh/for-authors.
