Dhaka Fertility Expo 2024: Empowering Couples on Their Parenthood Journey

The Dhaka Fertility Expo 2024, organised by Eco Expo, is currently underway at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka. Running from December 19th to 21st, this pioneering event addresses infertility challenges, offering hope and guidance to couples seeking parenthood solutions.

Infertility affects approximately 10% of Bangladesh’s population, equating to about one million couples facing conception difficulties. The expo brings together renowned local and international fertility experts and centers under one roof, providing attendees with access to comprehensive advice and treatment options without the need for extensive travel.

Visitors can participate in workshops and consultations covering various fertility treatments, including IVF, IUI, ICSI, and laparoscopy. The event also features an Experiential Zone, where organisations like Share-Net Bangladesh showcase their initiatives, fostering dialogue on sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) and youth empowerment.

The expo is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, concluding at 7:30 PM on the final day. Attendees have the opportunity to engage directly with specialists, gain insights into the latest fertility treatments, and make informed decisions about their reproductive health.

By hosting this event, Eco Expo aims to destigmatize infertility and provide accessible, expert support to those affected, marking a significant step forward in Bangladesh’s reproductive health landscape.
