CCGH2025: Uniting Global Health Leaders in Halifax
The Canadian Conference for Global Health (CCGH) is returning with its signature event – the Canadian Conference for Global Health 2025 (CCGH2025) – bringing together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, community organisations, and students in the field of global health from across the world from October 24-28 at the Halifax Convention Centre and online. As the largest gathering of its kind in Canada, CCGH2025 will serve as an important platform for sharing knowledge, networking, innovation, and advancement in global health. CCGH2025 offers an opportunity to reaffirm commitments to equity, equality, humanitarian response, and sustainable development.
Conference Themes: A Conference Designed for Impact
The conference will be built on the following sub-themes that tackle contemporary global health challenges, possibilities and opportunities:
- Navigating Global Health Governance, Financing, Collaboration, and Trust
- Youth, Gender, and Inclusive Leadership in Global Health
- Global Health Security: Threats, Climate, Outbreaks, and Preparedness
- Harnessing Innovation, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence for Global Health
These themes will direct discussions, conversations, presentations, networking and collaborations throughout the event, ensuring that participants leave with actionable insights and new networks to advance their work, ensuring that CCGH becomes an impactful conference.
Call for Abstracts: Submit your work
CCGH is currently extending its invitation to receive abstracts from global health enthusiasts for their hybrid event. The deadline for abstract submissions has been extended to April 11, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. This extension provides researchers and professionals with more time to showcase their work and contribute to discussions on global health through their research and findings. Accepted abstracts will be eligible for special recognition in categories like Best Poster, Best Presentation, and Best Abstract.
