Annual Member Consultation Meeting organised by Share-Net Bangladesh

Share-Net Bangladesh organised its Annual Member Consultation Meeting online on 27 October 2020.

A total of 12 participants were present at this strategic meeting. The dynamic group of speakers at the event provided their valuable feedback and suggestions. The objective of this meeting was to receive members’ valuable feedback on Share-Net Bangladesh activities in preparation of its Annual Plan 2021.

 Kishore Kumer Basak and Masuma Billah from RedOrange Media and Communications and Share Net Bangladesh (SNBD) started the meeting by introducing the participants formally with each other. After the introduction session, Kishore gave a PowerPoint presentation titled “Share-Net Bangladesh Activities” The presentation highlighted points including SNBD activities of 2020, SRHR Knowledge Fair 2020, Young Researcher Fellowship Grant 2020, GPower app, and activities of 2021. His presentation’s aim was to give clear ideas about different activities and details about SNBD as well as to pave the way for the members to discuss and provide inputs.

 After the presentation, Masuma facilitated an open-floor discussion for all the member participants so that they can share their ideas and suggestions. A number of suggestions and inputs, including child marriage, violence, menstrual hygiene management (MHM), infertility, came up. The member participants focused on what issues are neglected often and where we should focus more, especially in terms of policy and advocacy level.
