Accepting Diversity
Share-net Bangladesh’s initiative to amplify the voices of organizations that work for the SRHR of Disabled People was recently featured in The Daily Star’s weekly magazine.
Share-net Bangladesh, a knowledge platform, organised the first discussion of its kind that focused upon SRHR (Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights) for the disabled. It also shed light upon the need to create an inclusive approach to the underscored needs of SRHR for people with disabilities.
The meeting was initiated to collaborate with other organizations working in the field of SRHR for Disabled People. Members from Turning Point Foundation, Center for Disability in Development (CDD), Women with Disabilities Development Foundation (WDDF) and Global Platform Bangladesh took part in the discussion.
