Eligibility:

• Graduate in any relevant discipline
• Ability to lead the project from concept to completion
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field
• Must have good spoken and written skills in both English and Bangla

Purpose of the position

The Share-Net Officer on SRHR will support implementing Share-Net Bangladesh’s activities. The Officer will assist the Coordinator and team in managing knowledge exchange, stakeholder engagement, and executing the platform’s operational plans. This role involves coordinating activities, maintaining partnerships, and contributing to Share-Net Bangladesh’s strategic objectives in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing operational plans for Share-Net Bangladesh activities.
• Coordinate with the Share-Net Bangladesh Coordinator and team to ensure effective execution of initiatives.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for events, meetings, workshops, and conferences.
• Support the preparation of budgets, project documentation, and reports.
• Contribute to identifying and sharing best practices, research, and resources in SRHR and gender.
• Maintain the platform’s knowledge repository and ensure it is up-to-date and accessible to members.
• Liaise with Share-Net members and partners to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration.
• Assist in organising stakeholder meetings and discussions to promote knowledge exchange.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating activities against strategic and operational plans.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for the Share-Net Bangladesh Coordinator, Secretariat, and funders.
• Stay informed about key international developments in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and gender, and identify how Share-Net Bangladesh can respond to these developments.
• Enhances the organisation’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
