π•π¨π’πœπžπ¬ 𝐨𝐟 π‚π‘πšπ§π πž: CSO Forum Celebrated Women’s Day at BRAC JPG School of Public Health

On 8 March 2026, the CSO Forum for Strengthening Sustainable SRHR Ecosystem in Bangladesh held its quarterly meeting at the BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University.
The forum reaffirms its commitment to advancing the health, rights, and dignity of women and girls on International Women’s Day 2026, under the theme ‘Give to Gain’, with collective efforts to ensure a more equitable reality for all women and girls.
The session was moderated by Dr. Sayed Rubayet, Country Director of Ipas in Bangladesh, with a welcome speech by Professor Dr. Kaosar Afsana from BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health, and concluding remarks from Dr. Altaf Hossain, Executive Director of BAPSA.
On behalf of the Humanitarian Hub, Reza E. Rabbi presented updates on the completed project on ‘Female Death Registration’ study, which was conducted in partnership with the Johns Hopkins University Gender Equity Unit, Vital Strategies and Bloomberg Philanthropies.
The session brought together key partners and stakeholders to review progress, exchange updates, and reinforce collaborative efforts to advance Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Bangladesh. Together, the Forum continues to drive momentum for a more inclusive, sustainable, and rights-based SRHR ecosystem.
