TDH Italia is one of the ten members of the Terre des Hommes International Federation (TDHIF) whose shared mission is to active support children in need around the world, free from ethnic, religious, cultural, political or gender discrimination. Whilst independently managing their own projects, the member organisations work together to pursue common strategies established by the General Assembly and by the elected International Board. The International Secretariat in Geneva and the Brussels office play a coordinating role. The Terre des Hommes Federation is accredited by the United Nations Economic and Social Council, UNICEF, ILO, IOM and Council of Europe, with which it collaborates to improve international policies for the protection of minors.
