Job Context
- Reproductive Health Services Training and Education Program (RHSTEP) is a non- government organization working for the promotion and establishment of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of women, adolescents and young population across the country for more than 35 years in Bangladesh (for more information, visit: www.rhstep.org).
- RHSTEP seeks a person to work as `Program Coordinator` at Central Office based in Dhaka for its sexual Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) Program and Projects under this program.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and Overall management of ‘Sexual and Reproductive Health and Right Program (SRHR) and other Projects of RHSTEP covering planning, implementation, monitoring (including budget control) & evaluation, facilitative supervision and coordination of all program and projects of RHSTEP;
- Development of Concept Notes, Project Proposals, Guidelines and Manuals etc. Periodic and Annual Reports;
- Capacity Building of staff and Organizational Development;
- Advocacy; Networking & Coalition Building;
- Provide technical support to preparation of SBCC materials, social networks etc.;
- Oversee/facilitation of development of new program strategy as per need and as stated in RHSTEP’s Strategic Framework (2016-2022)
- Project hunting (Fund Raising);
- Partnership Management;
- Liaison with National/ International Non State Actors, Donors, UN Organizations, Government Ministries & Departments, Civil Society Organizations, CBOs, Journalists;
Educational Requirements
- Master of Social Science (MSS)
- Applicants should have a Medical Degree/Postgraduate degree/Masters in relevant discipline such as Social Science, Public Health, Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration etc. from a recognized university.
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 12 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- A passion to make a difference for improving the life of people especially woman, adolescents and young population
- Professional experience of at least 7 years at a management level in a large national, international NGO or UN organization
- Proven experience in relevant programmatic area
- Proven experience in building and managing program and projects
- Person should be self-motivated, hardworking having good communication and facilitation skill.
- Excellent people management skills including Trouble shooting & conflict management etc.
- Significant experience in strategic planning and project cycle management
- Significant experience in capacity building, organizational development and change management

Salary
- 110,000/- (consolidate)
Compensation & Other Benefits

- Salary Review: Yearly
- Directly responsible to Executive Director and closely work with Director (Program) in the preparation of monthly, half-yearly and annual work plan;
- Ensure regular coordination of all relevant staff of RHSTEP’s program and projects.
- Guide and provide support to all Project Managers and other staff in coordinating activities.
- Review the program and partner’s progress reports of UBR 2, analyze the unachieved activities & unexpected outcomes, and take necessary measures.
- Evaluate the qualitative and quantitative achievements of UBR 2 and other projects.
- Review, compile and prepare projects reports including UBR 2 project.
- Provide oversight on programmatic impact and quality, supervise MIS, ensures the reporting accuracy.
- Develop staff capacity development plan of program and projects
- Promote knowledge sharing, mentoring and coaching of relevant staff.
