Job Responsibilities

• As the Head of Influencing, you be responsible for providing strategic and high quality leadership for the development and implementation of Plan International Bangladesh’s influencing work. You will develop policy research and advocacy positions & campaigns with young people, which reflect their priorities. You will lead a dynamic communication and digital media team.
• You will be responsible for positioning Plan International Bangladesh as a leading organization in the empowerment of girls
  

  Additional Requirements

  • We are looking for a passionate advocate who has experience using policy, advocacy, campaigning and media to influence for change. We believe that youth are the drivers of change, so experience working with young people to identify, design and lead influencing is essential. Poverty of decision-making and an inability to demand ones rights is driven by an imbalance of power, so you also need proven skills of working with power holders, including governments.
  • Plans focus programme areas are SRHR, youth economic empowerment, active citizenship, education and protection. So having experience in at least one of these areas is essential
