Infographic: COVID-19 effect on sexual and reproductive health in low- and middle-income countries

COVID-19 could have a catastrophic effect on sexual and reproductive health in low- and middle-income countries. To discuss and debate, an Infographic was published by the Guttmacher Institute on 23rd April 2020. As the third phase of the pandemic has hit some parts of the world, especially in South-Asia, the potential impacts could be even more distressing.

As part of the Adding It Up project by the Guttmacher Institute, the Infographic was published based on the comment ‘Estimates of the Potential Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Sexual and Reproductive Health in Low- and Middle-Income Countries’ by Taylor Riley, Elizabeth Sully, Zara Ahmed, Ann Biddlecom from the Guttmacher Institute.
