First National CoP on ‘SRHR for Adolescents and Youth’
The Community of Practice members will nominate themselves, practitioners and organisations for joining the Share-Net International Co-Creation Conference that will take place online in January 2021.
Share-Net Bangladesh organised its first National Community of Practice Meeting on the subject ‘SRHR for Adolescents and Youth’. This meeting is part of the Share-Net International Co-Creation Conference which will take place in January 2021. The CoP members were invited to give their valuable suggestions on specific issues to focus on, for the topic ‘SRHR for youth and adolescents’. The discussions of this national meeting will be carried to the Share-Net International Community of Practice Meeting by Julia Ahmed, an Independent Consultant.
Khadija Mitu, Associate Professor at the University of Chittagong, and Afroza Bulbul, Associate Professor at the University of Dhaka are preparing a narrative review, which will be completed by December 2020. The CoP members agreed to provide their support for the narrative review. Two specific topics were narrowed down which were- sustainable youth participation and reaching out to marginalised youth. Total, five specific topics will be addressed during the Share-Net International Co-Creation Conference.
The National CoP will meet three times by December 2020 to discuss their progress and exchange their knowledge.
